My baby is 6 weeks old, i started my period when she turned 5 weeks. Still spot bleeding off and on. Before the 5th week i was still having like discharge. pinkish color.

It could still be post partum bleeding. It takes a couple of months after giving birth for your period to normalize, and thats if you're not breastfeeding. If you are breastfeeding you may not get a normal period or one at all until you have stopped. If you are not breastfeeding and you don't get a normal period by the time your baby is 3 months old then go and see you ob/gyn.

The normal time for most women happens to be 6 to 8 weeks after birth.

i had a baby 4 months ago and i bleed for 10 weeks so i thinkt that its all up to ur body and how long that u are going to bleed for i have talked to other people and they say that its not that long and then others say that they did for along time but i think that if u dont stop by the time that u go for your 6 week check up then tell the doc if u want to u can email me and we can talk about this more megryanmc@yahoo.com

hi I have 5 kids.every womens diffrent and no one knows their body better than you, you can always contact your dorctor.what was cool for me may not be right for you. But I did discharge off and on for about the first 6 weeks. diffrent things were happening with that. one week nothing another day somthing diffrent with discharge.

generally speaking....and obviously everyone is different.....once you have the baby you have a period for 4-6 weeks...after that i may go back to normal.....you still have alot of hormones going around and this will effect your cycle....i wouldnt be too concerned until you have had 3-5 cycles...but mention it to your gyno when you go in for you 6 week consult....

well yea that normal until your hormones recover! your hormones was mixed they was alot of changes in your body for the past 9 months so let your body settle down! so when you get your period again it be normal!

depends,after i had my daughter.i bled for like 5 1/2 weeks then i started my period like 2days later.
