Yeah, this a question in a book of the same name.

Basically, the development of the male and female fetus are the same for the first six weeks. Both fetuses develop nipples, so men have them as well. They're vestigial organs.

I think in the womb everyone initally begins with the same makeup, then some changes take place and the male develops. So we're basically the exact same for a little and we keep the nipples, but never grow the boobs.

Because when we are in the womb, we have no sex up to a certain point (I forgot how many exact weeks or days, though).

We have a very generic sexual organ, as well as nipples (they developed faster before our sex was determined).

If you become a boy, that generic organ gets bigger and becomes a penis.

If you are female, it recedes and turns into the clit of her vagina.
