i have friends we usually go out,btw we're 9 in the group, 4 of them were always borrowing money from me saying that they don't have money or the money that was sent by their parents were delayed and it takes a long time before they can return it to me they told me that they will return it before our xmas vacation but until now they didn't pay it yet, it'll be alright if they'll just tell me that they will pay it after our xmas vacation but the mere fact that they made their promises made me disappointed... am confused...are they my real friends?or not?

Sounds like they are using you. Stop loaning them money, if they are real friends they will still be there when you say "no".

Don't loan them any more money until they have paid back what they borrowed.
And tell them you are not happy they did not pay you back at the agreed upon time.
It could be they are OK friends, only time and their response to this issue will tell. But now you know that you should be careful about loaning them money. They might not return it in time.

I just don't loan money and expect it back , if someones asks for money I cant afford not to get back I just say no . It helps maintain friendships some people cant manage their money well enough that they didn't have to go out in the first place they wont be able to give back . Now if you tell them you don't have money to part with and they get mad at you like its your responsibility then you know they are not a good friend.

It sounds to me like they are using you but, you may test it by one time when they ask to borrow money just say you dont have any extra and see how they act, if they dont get mad then they are a true friends.

no. go find cool friends...find some cool musicians or skaters to hang out with...a group of friends who share a similar hobby where you need to work at it...it is also a skill/talent...tend to be pretty excepting...switch groups...people who always "borrow"(rob with permission) are jerks and probably aren't the most popular group in school to begin with...and probably don't have a "group classification" such as the above groups i mentioned...
find where u fit and r treated how u deserve.

no, because your real friends are to promise you. I have this problem like you, because i had so much money on my hands. They treat you like an ATM, don't let them borrow your money. If they continue using you and other stuff then I would tell you to just confront them and if they pressure you, leave them hanging, you would feel guilty, but it will help your sanity, because you are who they are.

Dont loan money, just make it a personal policy and tell people when they ask you. If you want to GIVE money, fine, but don't loan and don't borrow from friends.

no they are not real friends. and as long as you continue to give them money. they keep doing it. next time they ask tell them you already gave. and for them to get a job. and your not thier bank.
