Final Fantasy III is one of the most addicting games I've played in a long time.
Metroid Prime Hunters is incredible as well it practically makes the DS a portable Gamecube.
If anyone has a DS they should get their hands on these games.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney is a DS game I really enjoyed. My roommate got Yoshi's Island DS for Christmas and she said it's a pretty fun game, too.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Don't be turned off by the fact that it is a Pokemon game -- it is different than any other Pokemon game. If you have ever played Chocobo's Dungeon, it is like that.
