To Nicole A (who by the way has nerve with her run together sentences) and the rest of you brain-dead idiots-I'm quite aware that D died in Book 6- have none of you ever read a book where you were led to believe a character has died only to have them come back in a later chapter or book? To the rest of you- thank you -great ideas!

Jackie... You are brilliant! Wow, I didn't even think about that.
BUT... maybe Dumbledore had put a spell on Harry before he died, and that coupled with his mothers protection will allow him to come back to life... Or better yet, he comes back as one of the Hogwarts ghosts and hangs out with his friends....
I don't want Harry to die, or any of the kids...

He already died. Snape killed him the the Avada Kedavra curse. As for Harry, I believe that he dies, too. He probably dies because he is the last horcrux. When he dies, his scar will disappear, and Hermione and Ron, who are there at the time, will kill Voldemort. THE END.

He was Power Word Killed and blown off a tower. He is as dead as he is going to get. If he was alive, burying him was a big mistake.

in book 6 first he got poisoned and snape blasted him off the castle roof. since his portrait appeared on the wall in the headmasters office, he's probably gonna stay dead.

Nope he's dead; the best that can happen is that he hangs around as a ghost, or that his portrait talks to Harry.
