you've an excellent tutorial record, and good extracurriculars. With more beneficial SAT rankings you'll nicely be a aggressive applicant. besides the indisputable fact that, Stanford receives thousands extra aggressive applicants than they could probably enable in. so as that they ought to %. the finest of the superb. This incorporates legacy applicants (mother and father went to Stanford), the superb athletes, those who went to "astounding" severe faculties, and those that executed extremely stunning issues (like beginning a charity or spending a three hundred and sixty 5 days in Afghanistan training little ones a thanks to study). human beings like you do get in, besides the indisputable fact that the probability is amazingly slender. you need to video reveal, yet be conscious to different good faculties that you're extra in all probability to get into. Stanford is large yet many different lesser-regularly occurring faculties are too.

Given that we're not on the admission committee for Stanford, it's really difficult to answer that. If you've applied and you want to know, call Standford when they get back into session and ask for the status of your acceptance and application.

If you haven't applied yet, you have a fantastic background to offer any university. If you frame your letter of intention by outlining those accomplishments and how you'd fit into the Standord community and your major field of study, it may help in the long run when they go to review applications.

I wish you a lot of luck. They'd be lucky to have you.

75% of the students admitted to Stanford have SATs above 2100. As it stands, your chances of getting in are minimal.

If you can bring up your SATs and keep up the good grades, you have a chance. But you need to bring them up quite a bit.

The good news is that there are a lot of good colleges that would love to have you. Being a California resident, you should have no trouble getting accepted at a UC school & have a shot at one of the better ones.

Unless you can bring up those SAT scores, the top schools are out of your reach. You should still apply to one or two schools that are a reach for you -- but there are few (if any) schools that are as selective as Stanford.

From what it seems, it looks like you're a very strong applicant. You seem to be an all around student. Also, what were your scores for the AP tests? The only thing I have to worry about is your test scores. 1630 seems a bit too low, but they might overlook that....

Well, I wish you the best of luck!

you have a great chance but your sats are a bit low for stanford. the good thing is that those big name universities look for a well rounded student, so having a not so great SAT wont hurt u too bad. i say ur prob in.
