It's an older Sunbeam model. Pretty standard one, I think. I'd like to add a higher end burner that covers more the space more thoroughly. I'd like to add BTU's and a more sensitive control over the flame.
I know I could just buy a better grill, but this one has sentimental value. I've researched this on the internet, but come up with very little info. Has anyone ever tried something like this? I need some good resources. Thanks

You can try using the replacement parts for the bigger grills and see if you can get them to fit into your gill. i know most hardware staores have a section on replacement parts. it is hard to say that they will fit exactly into your grill. there my even be the parts you need that will fit your grill from the deluxe version of your grill. I didn't find anything for you at sunbeams web site but try grillstuff.com. They have burners etc for your grill maybe they will work for you. Good luck and don't burn your eyebrows off with your supercharged grill.

Sounds like you need to call "Tim the Tool Man" on Home Improvement. He juices up everything from riding lawnmowers to dishwashers. "More Power"! Sorry I could not be of any more help to you.
