I am a junior in high school and unsure of what to major in college. I love pets and helping people and want a career that I will enjoy. My grades are not as good as I would like them to be mostly C's so do you think I should go to community college first then transfer to a university or go straight to a university? Help!!!!!

Because your grades aren't very strong right now, I would recommend that you go to a community college first so that you won't be overwhelmed and screw up your college GPA. A community college would also help you get on the right track and I find that a community college can be quite helpful for those who aren't sure of what they want to do in life.

I would like to recommend veterinary medicine. Ask a vet if you could shadow them, meaning you would watch them work. See if you would like to do what they go through each day. Explore around. Ask other people if you could shadow them to see what interests you.

You will not get into a vetrinarian college with your grades as they are, but you could become a vet assistant at community college, and if you get good grades there transfer to a regular college. Vet Science requires lots of math and science, while being an assistant is more hands on technical. You could become an animal trainer for seeing eye dogs , contact the local agency for information on how to do that.

You do not have to go to college... start a pet business or work your way up at the Humane Society

college is a stable thought, yet you apart from mght decide on outdoors journey (and instructions) for that too. i think of you start up up at a zoo and you paintings up from there. So first get employed at a place like a zoo and start up up asking questions.

Thats what college is for. You could always go in undeclared and take classes until you find an intrest.

You can do anything you put your mind to. I would recommend volunteering at a local vet or talking to people in fields you might be interested in.
