i'm sure you guys go out to eat often....right? I bet you are stuffed by the end of the meal. Never get dessert right? Once a month take her out for a movie or just to get an outfit (probably about the same price now a days) Then go to your favorite rest. for coffee and dessert. She will love it! My 11 yr old does. We just came back from Night at the Museum and dessert at a local favorite rest.

Arrange a sight seeing trip. If you log on to one of those search engines, ex: aol, yahoo, ask, etc, enter sight seeing tours in your areas. Most of them are free too. I live in Miami and I thought that other than the beach, there shouldn't be a whole lot, but I discovered a bunch of places I had never even heard of. I think this will give both you time to talk and enjoy yourselves as well. Then you can follow up by making dinner together when you get home. Good luck!

Instead of projects what about going around town like seeing places she likes and going to places you and her have never been before it gives you guys time to spend together and when it comes time to sleep she will be really tired and will sleep.
