listen, i hope the jets do well (mostly because my team isn't in the playoffs so i really don't care) and i'm glad out of all the afc teams that coulda been in the playoffs the jets will be there. but lets get realistic, the jets probably won't go that far, it's too bad, but it's true, and if they prove me wrong, trust me, i would be happy, but i just don't see it happening.

Keyphrase you said was "they are having a suprising year", nobody is buying into the Jets for a couple reasons, first of all, they have lost ALOT in the past years, secondly, they have one of the easiest schedules in football, they only have ONE impressive win against New England on the road, look at the other wins and they are not that good (Green Bay, Buffalo, Houston, Detroit, Miami, etc.), and also they will do nothing in the playoffs when they get put up against the Chargers or Ravens, and thats why no one is noticing them.
They only beat 2 teams that are currently above .500

Some people do take the Jets seriously. Listening to the broadcasters they want the Jets to keep winning because it is so surprising. If the Jets do go all the way which is unlikely but not impossible it will be the surprise of the year considering this was supposed to be a rebuilding year.

If they beat Oakland, they have an instant wild card ticket into the playoffs.
However, my best friend (who is a Jets fan himself) admitted to me last night that he is terrified of two teams; Baltimore and San Diego. Both of them have nasty defenses that can steamroll almost any offense.
So if the Jets make the playoffs, I wish them the best of luck because if they face the Chargers or the Ravens, they're going to need that good luck.

Danny, Danny! Wake up and smell reality! They just BARELY beat my Fins Monday nite! There are just too many good teams in the AFC and your Jets are just not one of them.
Give the young coach time and who knows.......
But the Chargers, Indy, NE (maybe even the Titans) would blow them outta the water come 'crunch' time!
