Do You Mean What Format The Images Must Be?
Currently (with recent firmware updates), The PSP Supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF (no animations), And BMP According To The PlayStation Support Page (1)..

You have to look them up online and then just save them any format is fine

BMP's, JPEG's, GIF's but they dont move, and PNG's.
