Sure there is such a thing as provocation. it's when you deliberately say or do something to somebody that you KNOW will make them angry, make them react, start a fight with them. If you do it on purpose, then its provocation.

yes, provoking is engaging in a behavior you know will irritate or anger the other person.

the person who is provoked is still responsible for their behavior.

but children have less abiltiy to control their behavior because they haven't learned how.

in a sibling situation the provoker usually does things until the provoked person reacts then the reaction draws the attention of parents and gets the provoked person in trouble.

mature people should not provoke and should not allow themselves to be provoked. both have a responsibility in the result. but if it's young children the parents have some responsibility, too.

revoked & provoked, seem to have a bad taste too them, i didn't c the part about your sister, u can't throw stones in a glass house, let your sister win and it will help u on understanding women, trust me on this if a furture girl u might want to meet is offered the chance to understand you through her inturpretation of u and u screwed her atititude up u going to have a long life

I thinks so, You can provoke someone to do something you want them to do and a lot of ppl will do it. I think the ones that will let you provoke them and do something they may not want to do, is weak at mind. They tend to please others this way and can not stand their grounds and say no to anything. Be strong and you can not be provoked.

yes. why is your want to prove your sister wrong? it sounds like you are in a habit of doing so, but wish to stop. keep your mouth shut and your hands to yourself and soon you will outgrow the habit. if she plays into the scene, you must remind yourself of your new role and not react.
