I think it is pretty unlikely.

Most of the Ivy League schools accept very few transfer students. Last year, Harvard accepted 75 -- which is double their usual rate. But most of the transfer students came from high quality liberal arts schools, not from community colleges.

Well, it's not impossible. In fact, all of the Ivy League schools enroll transfer students from community colleges each and every year. The only problem is that they enroll very few students from community colleges, while they receive a large amount of applications. However, that should not deter one from applying to an Ivy League University, coming form a community college.

Yes it is possible. There was a guy who had a wonderful two year record at a community college and he was accepted into Yale not as a freshman but as a junior. Later on it was found that he had faked his community college credentials and he had been bragging around his dorm about duping the admissions committee. He was found out and I think he was, quite quickly, dismissed from Yale. It should have been around 1994 to 1996 if you want to look it up.

all people using to the ivies has the optimal grades interior the toughest training and intensely extreme attempt scores. you go with for all that just to compete with all people else, and lots greater to have an excellent gamble at entering into. Why could they take you while they'd take 10 different pupils who did no longer slack off? no longer something you reported here shows you will be aiming for a remarkable college, or have any good reason to attend one.

Yes, it is possible. I know 5 people who have done that exact course of work and transferred from CC to Ivy League with no problems. All have graduated and have great careers.

I agree, I find it hard to belive that a community college person can transfer to an Ivy Leage. Consider this, admmisons to colleges has incrased and US population is increasing and a hell of alot of chinesse and indian immigrants are coming over (who tend to be smart as hell) apply so basically NO.

A friend of mine was attending Brooklyn College which is a CUNY school, City University of NY, basically community college. She went to NYU on scholarship for a year so it is possible if you got the funds to do so.
