Yes, I hear you.
Everything is going to be alright. If you are down you can always get up. Ask God for his help. This works for me.
You also might want to engage in therapy. You may want to begin with a complete physical too. Sometimes a medical problem can lead to depressed symptoms. It can also be triggered by life events.
Whatever the case, be proactive. You can beat this!
Get out of the house everyday. When you are out, look up! It is just hard to stay down when you look up. That vast sky can remind you that you are a part of something bigger than yourself.
Read affirming books. Avoid music, movies and people that are downers. Stop listening to the news and reading newspapers for a while.
Try exercising. Just walking is good exercise and it will also lift your spirits.
Get adequate rest and avoid alcohol, which is a depressant.
You will get better. Count your blessings. Even the small things that we take for granted like shelter, food and clothing.
Do some self talk. Tell yourself you deserve to be happy, you will beat this. Imagine what will make you happy. Focus on obtainable things and go out and get them. For example, a new job or taking a class is within your reach, but a love of your life is a thing you don't just reach out and get.
Eat some ice-cream sometimes. Take a long bath with a scented additive to the water, something bright blue is soothing. Give yourself a facial. Put on your favorite perfum afterward.
Wear red. It is energizing. Buy yourself a bouquet of flowers. They don't have to be expensive, just pretty. In other words, be good to yourself. Life is worth living. You are blessed. Know it and act accordingly. Know you are loved by God.
I am praying for you. God answers my prayers.

Hey button21,,

Why are you depressed ?? What are the issues that make you depressed??

Take sheet of paper, write down VERY SPECIFIC ISSUE’S which you are depressed over. (leave space between each issue so you can brainstorm resolutions) Work on ONLY one issue at a time until you have an acceptable resolution to each specific issue. Then move on to the next “issue”

Never “stack up issues” only work on resolving one issue at a time. Life is full of “up’s and down’s”… just don’t push them all into a mountain, which becomes impossible to cross.

Depression passes. I believe in a God who loves you. You'll be fine. If there is an outside cause for your depression, attack it. But if it seems to be coming out of nowhere, realize it isn't your fault. Love yourself, take care of yourself, and know that you matter.

Whatever the problem is, give it to the Lord.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Never take the advice of someone who has not had your kind of trouble. - Sidney J. Harris

What I mean to say is you need to find someone who can truly help you or try to work it out alone by seeing what's within you.
