only wash sweaters together with nothing else and wash them inside out; sort clothes well. Wash towells alone, jeans alone, color's together and white's together. Otherwise if you mix textures, such as towells with whites or sweaters or towells sweatshirts you'll have the fuzzies.

only wash in cold water on slow .Do not wash with other clothes and add vinegar to the rinse.Hang dry press with a low iron and pressing cloth

Try not to wash with every wearing, just brush and air out. When you get them, you can gently shave them off with a disposible razor. Use a light touch.
