Buddhists are not waiting for another Buddha. There are enlightened individuals living now (aka Buddhas). Perhaps they aren't as profound an enlightenment as Siddhartha Gautama, but they are Buddhas.
Also, help comes only from within. No one can enlighten me but me. Buddha can't do it, Jesus can't do it, you can't do it. Only I can do it for me. Just like peeing.
What am I waiting for? The next Harry Potter novel, of course.
