i am thinking to buy a ps3 but i dont know which is better.. can any1 help me choose 1.

It's not a question of which is better because both are great consoles. Right now the xbox 360 has the lead because it's cheaper, you can find them everywhere, the graphics on the xbox 360 looks just as good as the PS3, more killer games and xbox live is awesome. Get the xbox 360 now and the PS3 much later. You won't be able to find a PS3 anytime soon.

right now 360 is better. Ps3 is hot but some things i dont like. The damn controllers on the PS3 DONT VIBRATE, which means in a couple of months they will probablyl come out with a controller that will probablyl cost about 60 bucks to add to its heavy price. then there is the lack of games which is typical with new systems. finally, i have not found this out myself and im still investigating this: PS3 uses blu ray disc. I HEARD that once you put a new ps3 disc in ur ps3 system, you wont be able to take that disc to your friends ps3 and play on his system. This is still a rumor i cant prove it just yet, im workin on it. if this is true i wont buy ps3. im constantly playing my games at some one elses place. good luck

You should buy XBOX 360 it is much better now because they have fixed all of the glitches that they have discovered long ago when they first came out. PS3 may have some unknown glitches that may occur in some time.

depends on what you want:
well if you like: Bluray movies (which is equivalent to an HDTV movie), built in memory card readers, and depends on your opinion on the game selection that is still growing... then go for the PS3
but if you like games like halo 3, and all other stuff get the xbox 360. you'll have to buy a memory card reader from Nyko and a HDTV DVD player separately at the cost of 200
plus it depends on your budget, you'll have to decide

THE PS3 IS BETTER BUT ALSO SO EXPENSIVE, BUT BECAUSE IT HAS A BUILT IN BLUERAY PLAYER IT MAKES IT MORE ATTRACTIVE THAN THE 360 (AND CUZ ITS BETTER LOOKING) LETS NOT FORGET THE PS2 IS THE WORLDS BEST SELLING CONSOLE EVER THE PS3 MIGHT BE NEXT, AND ONLINE PLAYING IS FREE UNLIKE THE 360 WHICH YOU GOTTA PAY
