Go the apple website (www.apple.com) and download iTunes. You can get songs there for $.99 each; also you need iTunes to sync your music to your iPod.

I recently had the same problem. Go to apple.com and download itunes onto your computer. You must have this to get music on your ipod. Once you do that you can transfer from an existing library on your computer or from CD's or buy from itunes. If you go to www.apple.co/support and select your type of ipod and click the new users tab you can get tuotrials on this question and many others. Good luck!

Firstewall, where did you buy your Ipod? If nothing came with it, and you still have your receipe bring it back to the store and they need to exchange it. Otherwise you could go online download under
www.apple.com the itune software, create an account with itune and than you're ready to download. Good luck. I have done it in the past and do it again.

you should get your music from either itunes or from limewire pro, which both cost money, the limewire free version is illegal so i dont suggest using it =)
