I would definately vote against it. Tobacco is used for a habit that takes the lives of millions and renders others ill. My grandfather died from lung cancer after smoking for many years. Back then, doctors had not connected the smoking-cancer link, or if they did, they kept quiet because the tobacco companies were powerful and monied.

If I had been your teacher in the FFA, I would have suggested you pick another project and tell you why. If I were your parent, I would have done the same too.

Hi
No I wouldn't, I 'would' vote for more money for educating people on the effects of tobacco and more money for independent unbiased research on the same effects.
To produce anything is part of the freedom of living we all seek, to use these products is also part of the same freedom.
People who know the effects and still will use .. then they choose to take the chance so let them stand up and acknowledge the fact and suffer. Let them not sue the company that gave them the product which they went to the market and asked for :-)

No I would not. As a FFA member, think of how that would impact the tobacco farmers. It is people's choice to smoke, the farmers are just providing a service for them.

i know so many underage smokers- and the sad part is that their parents often are the ones buying their products for them.

since we know that these products cause cancer, why are they allowed? they're directly linked with so many health problems, yet freely available anywhere.

i personally think that tobacco products should be outlawed. either outlawed, or the taxes and restrictions on them be so terrible that people couldn't afford it and would be too put out of their way to want to do it.

I would vote for the production of tobacco products. People should be able to decide what they want to do.

Against. I know the industry supports many people by providing an income, but it is horrible. Once again my new years resolution is to quit smoking. Trying to kick a 25 year habit. Wish me luck.

until marijuana is legal which does not harm people or give them cancer, of course tobacco should be outlawed.
