Where did yo learn how to dance?

(im a guy)If you're a guy because i sadly don't know how ! honestly i need to know how to dance because you know some girl might ask to dance with me one day and i won't know how ! Where can i learn how to dance ? i dont wanna ask my parents cuz i've seen them dance and i was like i aint gonna ask them ! lol but yeah where can i learn how to dance? like in that r.kelly video "step in the name of love"

Dance classes. This is where I learned. You need to find good suitable classes for yourself to go to at least twice a week. Otherwise you'll forget what you learned, if you only go to a couple of classes. Community colleges usually have inexpensive evening classes on variety of styles. Also, see if there are dance studios in your area. I dance Competitive Ballroom, but there are other classes as well in my studio.

There are some great ballroom dancing classes at community centers. Ballroom dancing sounds very formal, but it isn't. It's the kind of dance most couples do, when they hold each other instead of just jigging around independently. Ballroom dancing, as 99% of dancers do it, is nothing like what you see on TV.
There are also dancing studios all over the place where you can learn ballroom or other forms of dance. It's a great way to meet people, and have fun at the same time.

well if you have a best friend that happens to be a girl and you guys talk about everything and shes knows how to dance then just ask her to help you, I'm pretty sure she wont mind and if she dosent know how either you two should sign up for dance classes together so then that way your dancing with someone your comfortable with and not the instructor. you can learn how to dance by watching videos if you are a good observer ( example in the video of Justin Timberlake "My Love" there is a lot of amazing steps) , you can learn it by watching some teens who dance wherever they are, you can learn it by buying DVDs or interactive games that can teach you how to dance (my friend have one and it helps him a lot), by going in a gym..a lot of the gyms have at least 3 classes of dance, you can go in a dance club. But the way i think that is more easy, is to ask your parents...Maybe you are not very open with them...But i guarantee you if you ask them to teach you how to dance, they will be very happy.
Me, my parents teach me how to dance, they are very good dancers. And then i went to a dance club.

This is an easy one to answer. The type of dancing they're doing in the video is called "Steppin'". It is a spin-off of West Coast Swing dancing. You can either ask a dance studio to teach you OR purchase dance tapes/DVDs from Jordan Frisbee and Tatiana Mollman. Google their names to find their website. They are the top ranked dancers in west coast swing dancing. THEY are who you want to teach you to WCS. :)

Depends on where you live. Search online for a local dance academy. Depending on what kind of dance you want to take [ballroom, jazz, hip-hop] you can find a academy that can teach you that. Also try local community centers or schools.

well when i was in high school i was taught how to waltz, do the fox trot, line dance and square dance, other than that, i learned how to dance at my friends house when i was like 13.
