If the movie its classic i prefer black and white but if its a sci fi movie or something like that i rather choose color

being raised in the 40's and 50's, i still prefer the impact of a black and white movie. for me , it sets the stage for the tone of the movie: dark, dated, serious, depressing, etc.
i haven't seen a good bcack and white film since schindler's list.
