Hello. I'm black. I WEAR Ambercrombie and Fitch so are you saying that I'm not allowed to wear it? You also shouldn't generalize. It's not ALL blacks. I'm tired of all the people who are asking questions that start off as "why do blacks..." clothes are clothes. They were made so that PEOPLE (regardless of race, ect.) could wear them. So just drop it, alright? Clothes should not be judged by race and if you had your head in the 21st century, you would know that.

Just because some African- american people hate Ambercrombie and Fitch doesn't mean they all do! That is like saying all white people hate chinese food. Our race does not define our personality and who we are.. so cool off! And also, would you like to be called a "white"? NO!:( I I am sorry if I am over reacting, but please do not put people into groups like that! We were born with our skin and we cannot change it. The amount of melanin in our skin does not define our style! Skin is just am organ!

First of all, you really need to refer to black people as "BLACK PEOPLE" not "BLACKS". Do you hear us calling WHITE PEOPLE "WHITES"?

I do know what you mean about the clothes. It's just a stereotypical thing. Not all people, black and white look at it that way. But for the ones that do, it's the casual preppiness they are looking at. In the past, not alot of black people wore that style of clothing so it is considered "white kids" clothing. No harm in saying it though, especially if black people are wearing it, I do!

There does not really seem to be a question here.

But why don't you ask a 'black' person that purchases this brand why they care, I am black and I don't purchase this line simply because I don't like the washed out colors and the styles do not appeal to me.
