well......i have final fantasy III for the DS and there aren't many games like age of empires so thts hard. for the com. though, the sims 2 is great!

You and I, both, are into what is known as "Strategy" games. The best ones are Civilization, Warcraft, Starcraft, Lord Of The Realm, Populous, Age of Empires 2, Age of Empires 3, and Black and White!

How about Risk, Children of the Nile, Rise of Nations, or Black and White? All have similar characteristics. Except that Black and White is a bit more story driven.
I really enjoyed Children of the Nile. Has a great tutorial. I liked Rise of Nations--Empire Earth too. You start out almost at stone age and you progress through to space age. I thought it was pretty cool.

This game is from the RTS genre! So got to my source and you will find a list of games that you will like! One I know from personal experience is Empire Earth.
