Well, I was gonna say "Since you've been gone" by Kelly Clarkson, until I read your last line. "Survivor", by Destiny's Child comes to mind. Also "Beautiful", by Christina Aguilera. But no of those even come close to "Imagine me", by Kirk Franklin for the pure healing power of hurt of every kind. You have just GOT to check out both the song AND the video...you can download both from the free service, LimeWire, or you can find them on Yahoo! music/video.
