Most of the answers here are good but talk about the same thing: that u should wear extra-dense pads which absorb more on the first couple of days.
Another thing is that u should aim to wear very close fitting briefs. A lot of the time it isn't the pad thats the probelm.... its the fact that loose-fitting underwear or high-legs esp cause the undies to move above and therefore u get leakage.
A third peice of advice is related to side leakage. You didn;t say whether u had leakage from the back of the pad or the middle but if it was the back then long pads should help to cover the area in the future. You do not need to use more than one pad at a time. If u had leakage from the sides however (despite wearing winged pads) u should wear a second pair of briefs (without a pad) over the first one. That way, whatever leakes out will land on the second breif instead of your clothing. Just make sure u keep ckeching in the bathroom to see what is happenning regularly.
Good luck

I would change more often or find a pad that suits your blood flow or you could wear a pad towards the front and back of your panties to prevent problems. and you can also use the maxi pads wit wings if you feel uncomfortable

Seems like you have a heavy period and you should wear the thicker pads like the ones for nightime. Also change more often on those days.

Change your pad more often, or wear the heavy or extra heavy kind.
I've had my period for over 20 years, and I very rarely wear tampons. I've only bled through once.

Change your pad more often. Buy the ones for the super heavy flow and check them, oh, every two hours. If they are still soaking through, check them every hour and change them then.

you need to buy pads for extra heavy flow. its best to wear dark pants on your period in case you have any acccidents. dont worry about those morons that tease you and just get the correct pad flow. good luck.
