I think so. If the Giants lose which wouldn't be a surprise and if the Packers could beat the Bears, who's defense has given up 31 points to the Bucs, then the Packers would be in, but I think they'll lose in the first round because they would have play either the Eagles or Cowboys.

Not a chance. The city of Green Bay will become a hot arid desert before the Packers make it to the playoffs. Favre is finished.

It sure would be nice if they did.
Of the rest of the teams that are in the class of 7W, 8L, they are just as good and or better.
And one thing Green Bay has going for them that the others do not is, dun dun du daaa;
BRETT FAVRE.
I think he still has quite a bit more competitiveness in him and along with Donald Driver, Bubba Franks, Ahman Green, Carlyle Holiday et al, on a good day, meaning if the OLine do their job, Green Bay has something to work with.

Beating Chicago is going to be a big challenge for GB. It's possible with a .500 record to make it into the playoffs. Don't know how well they could do if they made it though.

No they will not. Even if they do they have no chance in the first round. I have always hated them and I hate them this more for beating my 49ers who were making a run for the playoffs.
