help with my internet modem please?

hi, i got a TISCALI modem, but it kicks me off the internet every 5 minutes and refuses to let me on unless i restart my computer, why is this????????????????????????????????????????????

Sometimes new stuff arrives broken.

In other words, your modem is busted.

have you went through the help section from Tiscali?

there are some settings you need to tweak... are you on broadband?
