God of War hands down. there's a reason why it was named PS2 game of the year and everyone that says God of War knows exactly what that reason is.

God of War, hands down.
It has more solid gameplay than Devil May Cry and the voice acting is superb. Although the combat system in either game is good, God of War lends a certain element that lets you "feel" the brutality of your attacks.
Wonderful game!

Ive never played Devil May Cry, but I would choose anything over god of war, it is way too repetitive. I cant find why it is considered good at all.

Devil May Cry IMO,
God of War doesn't seem to be worth the huge amount of hype that it has received if you ask me... seems to be rather repetitive after a while i think personally

rent them both there short games and you can beat them both in a few days
