Just shut the f**k up. He and his family treat me like cow poop. I need the strength to leave and file for divorce. Can anyone give me any advice and I am disabled so I'm on a limited income?

Although I'm disabled, I'm not slow or stupid. I do know how to get help and who to contact, so I don't need any legal type advice.

Sounds like does not respect you. Let his family and him go, get a divorce and move on with your life, you deserved to be treated with respect. Contact legal foundation, get a free lawyer, file for a divorce and get away. No husband should talk to his wife like that. Being disabled and on limited income should help you get free attorney. Besides would you not be happier by yourself than have to listen to his nasty mouth and being treated like poop. you need to have respect for yourself, move on.

Don't let anyone put u down... lower your self esteem etc.. cause you are human... and you need to be treated with respect etc.... I don't know what the lie was or how serious.. if it was serious... well.. whatever it was.. a lie is a lie... and for him not to have the respect to admit it in a respectful way.... I don't know were you are... or the laws there.. but you can seek assistance... and if you were to file for divorce.. you might be able to get spousal support... talk to a lawyer.. some will give your first visit free.... and you have limited imcome you said.. but you would be intitled to 1/2 of what you's have together now.. I would assume.. that is the law here..( canada) so that would give you a start... as well.. look into subsidy or fixed income housing.... and there should be support out there.. look in the phone book.. under social services... or women shelters.... take care and put yourself first!

Limited income or not, get a lawyer. He might treat you like this now, but in a divorce, you do get half and in some states he can also be made to pay alimony. You deserve better.

Details, details, details. What exactly was he lying about? I mean "did you leave the toilet seat up?" and he says NO when he should have said yes. No big deal. However, did you sleep with the babysitter and he says no and he did, ya got a problem.
Good Luck with this, but you need to put some things in prospective. Also, were you cursing too?

Well jsut go talk with a lawyer and explain to him you have very limited income. If your lucky he might do it for free. SOme lawyers sometimes work for free, it called Pro Bono, ANd if he doesn't ask him if he know of any lawyer who does. He can tell you how to get in tough with one. But just talk to a lawyer and tell him all about it and he might can help. SO good luck

Divorce law depends on the state in which you reside.
Most states allow you to file without a lawyer...
You can download the forms off of the internet..
You sound like a smart woman..
Look up your states divorce laws on the internet..

Honey....get the Hell out of there. No one needs that. You can always get help from a church, look for a shelter. I hope you have some family to help you even. Be Strong and get out you should be happy and treated like a princess and no other way.

Any man who would talk like that to his wife doesn't deserve to be married. Do you have family or friends who can help you pay for a lawyer? You also need to get away from him; stay with family until you can get away permanently.

hell yeah, you can make it own your own if know all of the legal stuff already. and there is a man out there waiting on you to treat you like a queen. leave his ***!!!!! and in order to get the strength you need to leave him, PRAY!!!!

Disabled doesn't mean dumb. There are attorneys who will work pro-bono (free) or for a reduced fee pro-rated against your fixed income. Call your local Legal Aid.
