Take all of your files from your floppy discs and save/download them onto your OLD presario. If your old computer still has internet connection, then send/upload all your files to www.sendspace.com. This is a free site in which you can store/send all kinds of files. After you've sent all your "floppy files" to that website, then download them onto your NEW computer, and then eventually on your zip drive. Just a suggestion. . .Good luck!

From a reliability standpoint zip disks are no better than floppies. Several years ago I've actually lost all my data on my zip disks due to the "click of death" problem that eventually destroyed all my zip disks. I should also mention that iomega (the company that made them) will not warranty this or any data lost as a result of this defect.
Also zip disks are no longer practical since the format is pretty much dead. A cheap $15 USB memory card reader with $20 512MB memory cards can hold 5x the data and all you need to do is transfer the data from your floppy disk to your memory card by clicking on My Computer, opening the drives, and dragging and dropping the files over.
Flash memory cards are far more reliable and economical than zip disks. If you still have data on them, get them onto flash memory or burn them to a CD when you can.

If both of your PCs have usb port, you can. You need to get a flashdrive, plug it in the old pc and copy the data from the floppies. Unplug the flash drive, connect it to the new PC and copy all that data back to a zip disk.

if you have floppy disk drive and zip drive in one computer, you can directly copy your file.
You can also, copy the data from your floppy disk to memory stick or external hard disk, bring the memory stick or external harddisk to the computer with zip drive and copy it.
