$75 on clothes? are you out of your mind? i would stick them up your *** to keep them there. You'd have to get a fishing hook to pull them outta there. lol

I'd have to have a discussion with her about finances. If she overspent and it caused something serious (like bank account overdrawn or important checks bouncing) it would have to be a really serious talk. If it ultimately didn't matter to the bank balance then I'd want to spend equally on myself. You can't take away the checks, atm, car, or anything like that. And you certainly can't physically discipline her! She's an adult, treat her like one or your relationship will quickly be doomed.

I think you should tell her you love her and tell her she lookes beautiful in the clothes she just bought! Especially if you want to get laid again in the near future! Who are you to treat her like she is your child!? Does she have a job and make money? Even if she doesnt and she stays home to take care of your children she works her butt off and gets no respect for it. it's almost 2007-----men wanting to control women ended in the late 60's, early 70's. my wife would be using HER credit card which is paid via the income we BOTH bring into the house.

I wouldn't have told her anything. She contributes as much in our realationship as I do and I think she can make up her own mind on how much she wants to spend.
