The second one sounds nice with the pronunciation key but without it I would say Nosey-la which isn't so nice. Kyoko is ok if you are Asian otherwise it would lead to confusion and "why did your mom name you that?" I agree shadow is a pet name.

I used to work with a woman named Shadow. Her mom had a painfully common name, and didn't want her daughter to have to wonder if they were talking to her every time someone called a common name. She mistook Neil Diamond's (I think) song "Shiloh" for saying Shadow, and thought it was just the coolest name. She was a really nice person with a cool sense of humor.

I think they are beautiful. Nosyla is a very nice name, and the fact that it has your personal touch on it, makes it that much better. I guess after reading the answers that a lot of people do not agree with me, but its your baby and you have to like your childs name. Who cares what other people think. Do what you feel is best for your child! Good luck

Noslya is very pretty. It sounds Slavic. Kyoko was the name of Yoko Ono's daughter :-) I think it is pretty as well. She wrote a song called "Don't worry, Kyoko" for her daughter. Those three words comprise the entire song. It's experimental music, not my style, but sweet regardless.
Shadow is the only one I dislike. It sounds like a good name for a horse, not a little girl.
Good luck!

Unless you are asian... the first two are kind of pushing it.
Nosyla... sounds like a nasal spray...
and shadow... that's not fair to name a child that. What if she turns out to be a very bright and bubbly person? You must think, children are their own person, not you. No offence.
You'll probably give me thumbs down for saying that, but I'm just being honest with you.

What do these names mean? To me the meaning of the names are very important. I believe that our children's names should reflect who they are, where they come from or what their parents hope for them. A name should be a blessing not just something that sounds good.

I like Kyoko. Shadow reminds me of Shadow Stevens from Hollywood squares.

Yeah, I'm not much for any of them. None of them is particularly flattering, and 'Shadow' sounds like a name for an animal. I'm not sure what would be so great about being a shadow, anyway.
