Yeh, its interesting BUT for me it comes out in my verbal languauge. Reading is a directive for the mind, especially when you believe or allow yourself to be consumed by the information. We either dismiss, challenge or accept what our mind consumes AND therein lies the result...........

Yes, I do a little & it affects speech patterns as well. The length of time it happens for is in direct proportion to how well I enjoyed whatever it was that I read. I haven't read Lemony Snicket yet but I'm sure to check it out just to see what made you a rambling mess.

Ha ha! I love Lemony Snicket! You know Nathanial Hawthorne? I picked up the overly descriptive bit. ;) Cool question.

Jeffrey Archer has an extremely comparable writing variety to Sidney Sheldon, and inspite of my dislike for him, I did savor his books. they have distinctive twists and turns and do shop you fascinated. in an analogous rollicking good examine vein, Jilly Cooper is large relaxing, as is Jackie Collins, yet they are greater soapy. in case you could cope with activities analogies, Harlan Coben is fab. i've got these days got here across his books and inspite of the actual shown fact that I have not got any understanding of or pastime in American activities (the main important character is a activities agent), i'm a great deal taking part in them - do in simple terms no longer take them too heavily!

I definitely did after I read "The Catcher in the Rye." I don't write enough anymore to really notice, but I'm sure I do. It doesn't take much for me to pick up someone else's style of speaking, so by logical extension, I probably pick up others' styles of writing.

Not really, but I probably would if I wrote more often. I can compare it to the friends I make; when I learn their mannerisms and ways of speaking, I tend to pick up on those and use them myself, simply because they're people I relate to, and therefore I tend to get a kick out of the same things they do.

Depends, it has to be somewhat addictive. I picked up on Janet Fitch after reading Paint It Black.
