From best buy, yes. From experience, yes. Same as playing an PS1 on a PS3 system it can be done. Got my son one for christmas and I asked the sales guy at Best Buy. He has been playing the new and old games on the 360.

Yes, but you need a hardrive for 360. I suggest getting the Premium package cuz it includes it..otherwise you have to pay 100 bucks.
Just go to walmart or target or a electronic store and ask about a 360 hardrive.

yes and no.
check the two posters who gave you a link. you actually have to download the software and put it on your 360 to be backwards compatible..............but the problem is that not all the games have the software for it.
