It all depends on what type of violence is in it. If its Gang Bangers who's into territorial ownership, stay away from areas that you don't usually go..If its infested with drugs, do not use, buy or sell drugs because you will end up dead from another dealer or the drugs it self. If there is Prostitutes, don't try paying any for sex, might be a undercover cop, and if you do pay, at-least use protection, cause you will end up dead from ST D's....To make this story short,,,,if you cant afford living in a community that has no crime, you should get a GED, or High School Diploma then go to College, Graduate and then find a nice paying job in your career field, that will help you pay the $1000.00 and up rental fee's, or buy a house in the $100,000 and up range....I wish you the best of Luck....May God Bless Us All

Fight to survive, and to protect those I loved. I don't think that I would try to change the system; I would spend my time helping what people I could each day. And I probably wouldn't have children. I wouldn't want to bring a child into such a world. If possible, I would flee and report what were going on in my homeland, and try to help others flee as well.

The simple answer is fight (and suffer).
But then, life itself is always attacking us - and in the end we all give up and die - one way or the other. If violence is the same as destruction, then we ARE constantly being subjected to it - in both minor and major ways. Survival is succeeding to live another day despite the constant, continual process of (minor and major) destruction. Heck, it's even FUN to make it through one more day - usually. If not, we'd all give up.

Well, since I have been in such a place at least twice, I would say do the best you can. Do not gamble, do drugs or mess around with punks. Of course, no one takes those admonitions seriously.

Try to get out if I could. If not, try to kill them all before they kill me.
One thing for sure, talking them out of violence have been tried a gazillion times and has never worked.

da onli thing 2 do is to spread peace!!! sounds imposibl but it isnt...
if u find it difficult then begin by findin UR OWN INNER PEACE... it'll diffuse outwards 4 shure....
