I'm assuming you already tried changing the input selection on your monitor: if you haven't tried that, I think you should. (lol)
Anyhow, are you changing the cables as your computer is still on? That may be the problem, because your computer's graphics cards doesn't automatically change inputs. Try changing the cables while the computer is off (or restart your computer).
If that doesn't work, mabye it's a driver update you need. Go to your graphics card vendor site and look for the appropriate drivers.
If that still does not work, mabye your graphics card finally gave up the ghost- or some of the circuitry may have broken. In that case, you;ll have no choice but to buy a new graphics card.
Well, good luck anyways!!

sometime you have to choose the Digital ports to be on in the Monitor,
Are you sure you are plugging it into the digital output on the PC. If so, make sure that your settings for that card are not set beyond the capability of the monitor.
Sometime, early on in the days, you would have to choose a primary video card in the bios. If you chose "onboard" the video card in the PCI or AGP slot would not work.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
