You put up a wall due to past hurts. From this you close the door to what could infact be the best thing coming your way, if its not already there. Due to fear of losing this you back yourself into a corner and run from it before you in your mind think it'll be your undiong. When in actual fact you call it a phobia, its your mindset you need to break free from.

Look down the road and see yourself as an old lady, 75 years old, alone with no husband or boyfriend, no children, no close friends, your parents are gone, maybe your siblings too (unless you're an only child). Just you. When you think about waking up to that reality, how does it make you feel?

Do that one thing that you always wanted to do but never had to chance to do it. You will meet new people and will know if you like it or not to try it again. Also take the time to pamper yourself. If you feel great about yourself, you will feel great about doing new things and meeting new people.
