EMO people can be cool, but some people are not cool enough to be EMO, and those are the ones that TRY TOO HARD.

I know because I have seen some actual cool emos. Though I dislike emos, I know what it takes to be one.

Emos..It's they're choice. But honestly -- labels are stupid. They're not needed; Trust me I'm labeled emo and scene all the time..But yeah I really dont think they'res emos;punks;preps;etc. We're all just people; We're different.=]

i think that emo people are just PEOPLE. there are so many annoying stereotypes that go along with being 'emo'; all emo people cut, wear black and hate the world. its not like that.
also, emo haters are really annoying.

I hate emo. But thats my opinion cause the ones ive met are so rude and tend to stick with there own wee groups. Ive extended the arm of friendship and they were just rude . so so sad.
And they all dress like new romantics from the 80Â´s

I'm gothic-emo and one of my best friends is screamo, so...

He's really fun to hang out with... We always piss people off (Especially the gangsters... They're pretty easy to piss off...) cuz they hate emo...

We (the emos) are not "hate the world and go to heck cut then cry" like most people think we are. We're just like you, but we have problems and pain. We express our pain by our actions and through our appearance...

Or at least my friend and me do...

well my friend is Emo and she is awesome and fun to hang with even though im a punk and Emos and punks arent supposed to like each other we do so i guess they do but even though they are emotional they are still cool

the reason for people being "emo" is because they are striving for attention, and cutting themselves, or whatever else they do, is just ways that they are trying to get attention. If your that lame that you feel the need to hurt yourself or wear really tight jeans just for attention, then you have some issues.

well emo girls are scary sometimes, but emo guys are totally cute, as long as they dont were skinny jeans, (my bf is emo, he's soooooooooooooooo cute)
