Not at all. They're the sign of balance. And as an air sign, they're a mental sign. They love the "idea" of love. They love the romance, to them that's love, they're not deep emotionally. Air signs are emotionally detached. They're more about the mind than feelings. To them love is more of an idea.

I think you are a little confused because Venus is theorized as the planet of Love. The libra sign is ruled by Venus, but not necessarily the sign of love.

One thing not mentioned. It may be the sign of Balance, but since it's planet is Venus, it is considered one of the signs of love. Venus represents love.
