Some people lie and pass, some people tell the truth and fail. What's up with that?

Because polygraphs just don't work. They work best at scaring people into confessing as they think that they will be found out if they are told that they are being given a test.

The key to the Polygraph test is the baseline questions. The first few questrions they ask you - like your name, etc, are used to give true/false markers. For example, like "Have you ever lied before to get out of trouble?" - almost everyone will answer "no" and they expect this so this marks as a lie. Then anything you answer that has the same peak on the graph is considered a lie.
It's not 100% but they ask you so many baseline questions, the best thing to do is just tell the truth. It's always better to tell the truth anywah because you'll have no secrets to hide.

Lie with every answer. Every answer will register as a lie, and they will have to pass you because the machine doesn't register you telling the truth.

Tell the truth, or don't take it.
For what it's worth, I don't believe Polygraph results are admissable in court.

in case you would be able to administration your blood pressue, coronary heart cost, and respiratory, you could "bypass" a polygraph whether you lie. The gadget works on the concept those issues substitute once you're irritating considering you're mendacity.

The polygraph test basically just measures your heart rate and nervousness.. so stay calm and answer all the questions truthfully..

I've heard that if you put a pebble or a sharp tack in your shoe and step on it hard enough to cause pain, you can lie and still pass.

they say put muscle relaxer under your tounge or fake all the
answers theres alot of ways to mess one up but be carfull even thought not admissable in court if you fail no one will beilieve you wether you did the crime or not..them things are unpredictable and bad news for inocent people....dont take it if you dont have to

relaxing and contracting sphincters during the test will create false positives, rolling eyes will shift lie readings, you just need to practice.

its all in the nerves .. example.. you stole a car and the can't prove it so your taking a polly.. for one stay calm always.. answer as if you truely believe your answers prepare yourself for your answers so much until you feel like your starting to believe your own story.. always always stay calm.. .. if you in your head believe what your saying there will be no changes in your heartbeat and you should be calm...
