KB's are Knowledge Base documents from microsoft. They are fixes or documents that outline fixes for certain problems.

Not exactly sure why you would have them on your computer.

Those text documents are installation logs for windows patches and updates. The KB and 6 numbers is an identification number for the patch or update. All of their patches are referenced in this fashion.
