Do you light fireworks at midnight on New Years?

yes we do in our neighborhood there must be thousands of dollars spent on all kinds of stuff from tiny ones to giant sky rockets, we try to out do each other, it goes on for about an hour

Nope, can't. In New York State we are not even allowed to Light off personal fireworks on the 4th of July.

The city can have a firework show, but not anyone else.

I know, kinda a bum deal.

Firecarckers and sparklers the kind you can buy at a grocery store, with the confetti that comes out. I live in Colorado Springs, and every year a team of men the Adaman club (see below ) and
hike up Pikes Peak mountain to set off fireworks every New Years eve on the top of 14100 foot montain! We also go honk the horn to wake up the sleeping neighbors and bang pots and pans-something my mother used to do when she was younger.

I love them!! they're so much fun. I lived in Japan for 4 years they call it hanabi and they have the best fireworks I've ever seen

No, but the guy across the street does and we stand in the window, drinking a hot toddy, enjoying the colours while he shivers in the cold.

Yes, we get some from Nevada and set them off, then wait for the cops to show up on the Beach~~~~~

I light starting at 8 o'clock. I spend entirely too much $, but it is great.

People here slip and do it, there is a $500 fine if caught doing it.
