There is flood and landslide in Sg due to the heavy rain for the past few weeks . Please read the news before asking! and to those who believe Singapore have black magic, PLZ ! this is the 21st Century!! i cant believe there are still uncivilised ppl around!

Of course there were floods!
Affecting nurseries in the Thomson area. And there were a few landslides affecting private properties. Also, there were quite a few instances of falling trees.

Singapore can be flood like Johore state, but be forsee it 20 years ago so our drainage system works fine.

Singapore is a small country....if they dunno how to manage their drainage system properly, how can they become what they are today? Oh, ya, btw, it's wrong to say that Singapore didn't has flood at all....some areas esp in Mc Ritchie Reservoir was so severely flooded untill the nurseries suffer a few million dollars in damages. No escapes for the Great Rain of 2006...lolx

The obvious reason is Singapore got a better drainage system than Malaysia, It has nothing to do with travel, it has something to do with sustainable development.

Singapore is quite small so if there is flood, the water also can get back to sea very fast.
