i told you. i have never had sex. no bf. the closest i have been to sex is a tampon. and thats not sex. i dont even masterbate. and i dont have a brother. or a male dog. dont ask. and dont even say i had sex. i am a virgin. the only way i can be pregnant is if god places it in me and that wont happen.

You are still going through puberty and this can go directly into your adulthood.
You can have great normal cycles and then all of a sudden, it changes whether in time (late, early, short or long period) or in amount (light or heavy etc).
I started when I was 9 and it was ontime until around age 14...then I begin to naturally skip periods, my blood flow was light then heavy, sometimes I would have sever cramps and other times I didn't know I started until I went to the rest room. etc.
My doctor says it is natural as you are having hormon changes during your pre teen and now teen years into your early adulthood as time goes on. Your body is changing and your period will too.
I was also a virgin until I became an adult. People don't realize our periods naturally do things and doesn't mean sex and pregnancy is involved.
A period can be delayed by many things: Stress, atheleticity, over or under weight, bacterial and virual infections, medications etc.
I went on the pill to help regulate my period. I had to switch brands over the years due to my hormon changes and also do cramps v.s break outs etc.
I would talk to your doctor and your mom about how you can make your period more on time and less side effects (bloating, pms, cramping, light or heavy, long or short period) so you can have a comfortable period and know when you will have your period (as the pill is on a monthly schedule that you know what week you will have it to prepare for it).

I'm 19 yrs old and i had my period since i was 8 yrs old(that's 11 yrs)and there are about two thing that could be the cause of a late period.#1 is could b that you have some sort of stress on your body or strain.(R u an athelete or very active).#2 your cycle could just be changing up.Majority of females period often change over the years as we grow older. No matter what the probelm maybethe best advice i can give you is Check with your Doctor and write all your questions and concerns down and ask your doctor about them.

If u have had sex take a test and find out if Ur pregnant. But if u have not had any its a normal thing at a young age. Don't worry sometimes it won't always be on time. U might get it later 2night or some otherday. But its a normal thing.

sometimes your period can change due to being around other women a lot. like if you and your friends hang out a lot, then your periods will probably start to be about the same. Don't stress about it, it's only 5 days late.

It happened to me last summer (I was 16, 4th year of having periods) it was a week or so late. I don't know why. I was overseas so my body may have been thrown out of wack. Sometimes it's late due to stress.

Well you should tell your mothers or if you don't want to tell your mother tell a female that you trust so they can take you to the hospital. The same thing happened to me when i didn't have my period then the next month i had it for a whole month. so just go and tell somebody that you can trust take you the clinic.

Don't worrie. It's normal than sometime it's in late of a few days. If you had any sexual relationships, you should ask for a test in the pharmacy, just to chek if by any chance you're pregnant.
Good luck ;)
