Yes, you can become totally into your own head. You need to get out and see people, exercise, read, get distracted, get a pet. You need to get some perspective. Although some people do function well this way. Look at Stephen Hawking.

Sometimes I think so deeply I forgot what I was thinking of in the first place. It's like waking up from a dream and I totally forgot the dream.

Yes you can get depressed and feel stupid and useless and get lost in that feeling and lose touch with reality as well. I advise against it. Because it is a wise person to admit to being a little stupid at times and that makes you smart.

Yes, you can get lost in your own "little world," and you'll end up forgetting what you were thinking about in the first place. So take a little break and rejuvenate yourself. Why are you consumed by it?

Your second question does not allude to becoming stupid. Deep thinkers sometimes don't have common sense and this makes them appear to be stupid when they are not. They are simply distracted.

I'd agree. Like cramming for an exam, when you already know the material. You get to the point of "over-heating" and example..."Less is More"

yea i think it can happen, like if your surrounded by people who all think your stupid, even though your not, and then they are so negative on you and you begin to think it's true even if it's not, or even if they all think that your a certain way you could start to play the part
