All races can be racist, and white people deal with racism just as much as any other race does. It is true, corporate America is made up of mainly white people, and I would love to see some more diversity in government. I believe that we all should have equal rights; it's 2006, and for people to still be race bashing is ridiculous! But, it happens. We can't stop it, but we can choose to not be part of it and stand up for what we believe in. I recently had tried to apply for a scholarship (I have a really good GPA; a 3.6) and had a hard time finding one, but noticed there were lot of scholarships for minorities that required a2.5 or better. I wrote a letter to the committee and was granted a $1000 scholarship for underrepresented minority and got a honorable mention from the dean of students at graduation. We need to take small steps towards equality and teach our children as well as ourselves that skin color is not important, it is what is inside that counts (as cliche' as that sounds!) I'm sick of hearing racial slurs and would never submit my son to that kind of behavior. When he starts head start next year, I will put him somewhere that has a good racial mix so that he can learn to love people regardless of their color and learn how to be a just and fair member of society.

In what part you are right...but what you don't say is what also white people say to a Mexicans.. to answer to other saying you say about being more Mexicans hobos than white is because the government gives them money that's why they conceive more kids for more money..that's why some people say that they need Mexicans to live because Mexicans would work i decent job..know answer this have you ever seen a white person work in farms as a janitor? so please find out about both sides then ask your questions or judge about what you just said..
