And just why do you think you're entitled to one? Go back to wherever you came from.

Unfortunately, you don't. Why unfortunately? Because you have to drive anyway in California, so you will, and even if you followed the angry advice to "go home" you would have to drive to get there. Since you can't get a license, you can't get insurance, and so when you run into me, you won't be covered. I think everybody should be able to be licensed, not for their benefit, but for my protection. (I think the same thing about health care--I want to be protected from the spread of disease and not rant about how my protection costs money.)

Speaking from apoint of view, of a person who was once an illegal immigrant, i understand both sides of the situation.
I just think we should not be so hostile towards immigrants, most americans and other nations are blessed enough to not have being born in highly corrupt countries, so please have more "respect" and consideration. I do understand it is against the law, but trust me, i have not met anyone who left their families and home country just for the fun of it. Most come because they see as an opportunitty to a better life. Are we not all entitled to dream and try to accomplish something better?
And plus, immigrants get the jobs that no americans want, most of us are maids, landscapers, construction workers, and so many other things, and no, we are not the backbone of this nation, but we are sure a part of it, always were. Must we forget, we were ALL IMMIGRANTS at one point? our fathers, grandfathers? Unless you are an indian, i do not think we should have a saying in this. If your ancestors had decided to " stay in their own countries" there would be NO AMERICANS.
thats my opinion. and good luck for you undocumented guy, i know its hard, but please dont do anything else illegal, try to get your license legally, or work in something that doesnt require driving. Good luck!
