When Rick Pitino coached the NBA he was really bad. As the coach for the celtics he turned down Chauncey Billups, Tim Duncan, and many other modern day superstars.

He is an excellent college coach, in addition to his success at different schools, he has trained excellent head coaches in the past---- Ala Billy Donovan, and Ralph Willard to name a couple
