I have windows xp home, and I don't want to change operating systems, but is there some way I can change my desktop to a different look? and not change the background

As well as chaging the wallpaper, toolbar coulours etc, which you've proberly done lots of times, you can also change the entire windows enviroment, by using skins or styles. I've never done this myself but have scene it on various laptops, and the effects that can be acieved are often spectacular.

There are many sites where you can download different "Schemes".

Just do a Yahoo search for "Windows XP Schemes," you should be able to find what you need.

you used to be able to download a Alienware theme manager. But I dont know if you can now that it is owned by Dell.
