The short answer is no. You want interent? Get a phone line, that's how it works in the real world.
Satellite broadband is sh1t slow and costs a stupid amount of money a month (much, much more than you'd pay for a phone line and DSL together every month).
A data connection from your cell phone provider will also cost an utter fortune as it's designed for business people on the move who have no choice but to pay their ridiculous data charges for an incredibly slow connection.
Wireless internet is for people who already have a net connection in their home. Seriously, don't fall into the stupidity trap of thinking wireless internet means you can pluck a net connection out of thin air, that's just not how it works, despite what every idiot and their friend seems to think. Wireless internet simply means you take the net connection that's *already coming into your house through DSL or Cable* and then you stuff it through a router so that you can pick that connection up from anywhere in your own house, it doesn't create a net connection where none existed before. Wireless has become a sort of buzzword recently and everyone's bandying it about like they had a clue, when really most of them have got pigsh1t between their ears and can barely tell a mouse from a blender. You need a 'normal' internet connection in your house before you can go wireless, that's really all there is to it.

Telephone landlines are quickly becoming a thing of the past for most home users. You no longer need to use a landline to connect to the Internet because there are several other ways to access the Web. Although some Internet service providers still offer Internet access via a phone-line connection, other ISPs have discontinued this service due to the high number of home residents without a landline. Follow these steps to get internet without phone line or cable 1.Power on your computer and turn on the wireless feature. If there is a wireless signal near your computer that does not require a password, you will be able to access the Internet. You can also order wireless Internet service from your local cable company or other Internet service provider. 2.Order satellite Internet connections from your local satellite provider. This Internet connection will work just like your satellite television connection; however, you may experience a loss of signal during storms or other bad weather. 3.Power on your cell phone and select the Web browser feature. Most cell phones produced today and for the past several years are Internet-ready and capable of connecting to the Web quickly. If you do not have the Internet service on your cell phone plan, contact your phone company to upgrade and activate this feature. 4.Use cable Internet, a service that can be ordered through most cable providers. The Internet signal will run through a cable hook up to your home, and will require a modem (usually supplied by the cable company) to connect the cable to your computer in order to access the Internet.

You will need one or the other if you want to get on the Internet. If per say your company wants you to work at home, what will you use to work mwith? Is your company going to set you up with a computer? If so I assume they will also provide you with a line to hook it up to.
You can use your computer with your Cell Phone if you or they buy the software. Who ever your Cell Phone provider is will also have to support this. Sprint does as well as a few others. Keep in mind that this option is very very costly.
Wireless is cable. With this you need routers and more equipment.
Your company should be the one providing all the user stuff as needed.
Good luck

Wireless point to point or Satellite is your only real option if you don't want to use those two things. Wireless is only available in very very few places, satellite is available almost everywhere, but has very high latency. (It's slow to respond.) Because of this high latency, it's usually only good for downloads or viewing webpages. Most client-server applications that businesses use don't work well over it due to the slow response.
Most companies will pay for your internet service if you're going to work from home. Plus, cable internet or DSL will be cheaper than most of your alternatives. Plus, your performance will be a lot better. You do not need to subscribe to cable tv to use a cable modem, though you do need a phone line installed to use DSL.

Satellite internet is the best option, its about 10x faster than dial up. It costs about 300 dollars to install initialy and about 45 dollars a month after that. You can get satellite internet installed practically anywere. Its just like setting up satelite tv, basically they install the dish in your yard or on your roof and connect it to the modem on your computer and your good to go. Some good sites to look at are:
wildblue.com and direcway.com

WIFI...wireless internet. Your computer may already come with it installed. Many newer computers do. Call your comp manufacturer to find out. On your comp left click the start button in lower left corner, you will see, "connect to". Click on this and it will show you if you have a wireless connection.
